First Manchester

As a resident of the northern part of Manchester, and also as a student in the Manchester new spangled university, a journey on a bus into town is an inevitable part of my daily routine. The hot pink and blue logo buses are the thing to go for - though it chooses to use my least favourite colour in the world (EWWWW, PINK!) it still manage to stylise it so that the emphasis is not on this hidieous colour, but on what it provides. I as a regular user of this service I decided to write how I feel about the services they provide and hope it gets back to them because they need to go a long way to provide better services for people to use them and to leave their cars at home. I have been in London for two years and as a bus user I could barely complain about there services. I understand that it is London and more people use them so the services are more regular and cheaper as more people use them but that is not an excuse to provide poor services for people in Manchester. I'm sure by now you may have read the other reviews and found out most people hate this company (apart from insane people or planted reviews) I can only but add to this pile. If First had a valid complaints facility that actually respond then I would not be here writing this, but there is no other way of making your voice heard. Well... Im sure we've all caught a bus before, even if it int a 'First bus'. Sometimes it can be very uncomfortable other times it can come just on time and there might even we a seat waiting for you! I decided to write my first review on First Bus company, because i am disgusted with the state of the buses i have to get to work every morning. On a nomal work day i get a stagecoach bus which is regular, clean, the drivers are usually quite friendly and the prices are very reasonable, then in Hyde i have to get on a dirst old, First run Bus. They look like they have dug these buses out from a scrap heap and given them a repaint. They offer an unreliable and infrequent service. The buses are filfthy. The drivers are rude and often speak hardly any English. I also cannot understand their EXTORTIONATE PRICING. They are the most expensive bus service in the whole of Greater Manchester, yet they cover the widest area and in turn take in the largest revenue. I am learning to drive so I can say goodbye to this awful company. I feel sorry for people who are on low incomes who are forced to pay nearly £18 for a weekly ticket.
