Advantages: QUALITY QUANTERTY AND WORK ETHIC Disadvantages: YOUR STOMACH IS NOT AS BIG AS YOUR EYES
The Flaming Dragon Chinese restaurant is located in The Corner House in the centre of Nottingham.
I work part time in local Co-operative store in Radcliffe on Trent, near Nottingham.
Faced with going out with about 10 of my Female Collegues I thought how will I be able to satisfy all those women in one night, after all I am high side of 56.
Give them all they can eat was the answer, so the Flaming Dragon was the obvious choice.
It is a eat all ... ...BIG WOK, there are reviews on that.
I feel that although the Flaming Dragon is a little dearer, The quality of the food is far better, the decor and ambiance is superior and finally those fantastic Staff with their old fashioned WORK ETHIC makes it a far better option. ...

Advantages: Tapanyaki bar, BBQ, good value wine, friendly staff Disadvantages: None
...06/09/08. I visited the Flaming Dragon in a party of 6. As it was a Saturday we had pre-booked and were glad that we had because it was quite busy. We have eaten at several all you can eat Chjinese buffets in the Sheffield/Nottingham area and have to say that this is the best by far. Yes they did have chips on the menu, but you don't have to eat them, they had at least another 50 other choices. Starters were excellent and they had my favourite, crispy ... ...choose your own fresh meat and it is cooked to order while you wait. They also bring the BBQ selection to your table for you slice and sample as you eat. They even had a surprisingly large range of desserts, not usually a Chinese strength. The wine was good quality and value at £9.95 per bottle.
I suppose the acid test is would we go again and would we recommend it to others, and in both cases it's a definite yes. The staff were superb and friendly. ...

Advantages: Sells english food if you want english food Disadvantages: The whole dinning experience
This restaurant is the worst place I have ever have the misfourtune of eating in. The staff are rude and ignorant, and the food is barely passable. They even had chips and hash browns as a part of the so called chinese buffet. To finish the evening off nicely they then managed to short change me. Not only did they refuse to give me the money they owed me, but they also refused to investigate the matter - even if I was willing to ring back in the ... ...it should be for the night. The only good thing about the experience of eating here is knowing that I now know to never go back there again. I would not recommend it to anyone.
I have been asked to edit my review to make it more balanced and helpful but I don't know what else to say. My boyfriend (who I went with) has now thrown up and is still feeling ill. I am normally not one moan but I really can't find anything good to say about the place. ...
