Advantages: exciting varied track, the ultimate ‘drivers’ circuit - many chances of over taking, location amidst lush forest Disadvantages: none really..(often wet..?)
...many of my F1 reviews Formula 1 tickets are quite expensive, but Spa is a unique circuit and in my opinion the best to witness some truly gripping motor racing. Current 2001 tickets offer Bronze, Silver and Gold tickets depending on how many days practice you wish to see. The Bronze is the cheapest ticket starting at
86 Euros (~£53) rising to the Gold 3- day ticket costing 347 Euros (~£217). For current details please check the official Spa Francorchamps ...

Advantages: The beauty, The excitement, Nice waffles, Track has few imperefections, The speed, Eau Rouge Disadvantages: Doubts over some of the facilities, Choice of food. Volatile weather, Need to pay for toilets, Getting there, Getting back, Eau Rouge
...wish to get to the Formula One paddock (which has some work being done to it on the access front it seems). To be fair, the closest car parking is much closer to the track than Silverstone, and when the paths are dry, they are not too bad to walk on, it’s a different story when it rains, the drainage outside the paddock is quite poor. Also the gradient makes walking tiring.
Getting around isn’t too difficult, you might need a scooter ...

...Jaguar Racing at the Spa Formula 1 Grand Prix. Whilst I realise that this opinion will concentrate on the corporate side of visiting the event, rather than as a member of the general public, I still wanted to share what was an unbelievable weekend.
Our trip started on Friday afternoon when we headed off to Belgium (unfortunately we couldn’t get to the Friday practice sessions!) Our journey took us through the Channel Tunnel, then driving ...

...the most exciting races in Formula One.
When I visited there were no video screens I believe this is still the case. Because the laps are so long this can mean long gaps in action at the start of the race and it is only when the field spreads out that the action is non-stop.
Food outlets are located nearer the main grandstands and those going general admission would be wise to take provisions with them before setting off deep in the wood! ...

Advantages: Great Overtaking. Disadvantages: Unpredictable Weather.
...longest circuit used during the Formula One World Championship series. At 4.3 miles a lap, this circuit takes an F1 car nearly two minutes to complete, which is a long time in F1 terms. Because of the length of the circuit a complete race is only 44 laps.
This track is a great favourite of the drivers because of the fast, challenging corners, particularly the Eau Rouge corner, but there are some concerns over the high speeds and the overall safety ...

Advantages: variation, fast corners Disadvantages: too long, dangerous
Every year the drivers are looking forward to the Belgian Grand Prix. This circuit has everything. There are slow corners like 'Source', but especially you have very fast corners and that's what is exciting. The raidillon (also called eau rouge) is the fastest and most exciting corner on any circuit. After this you have a very technical part, where often the real difference is made. Then you have a very fast part again in the section, called Blanchimont. ...

...sit down to watch a Formula One race and end up thinking I’m watching a CART race instead. Oodles of drama were to be found in the the circuit nestling amongst the hills near the German border. However my friends, drama is not always a good thing.

Fast, long, sweeping, slow, open, tight, dry, wet. All words that could be applied to Spa and all words that could be applied at the same time. Spa is both one of the longest ...

Advantages: Corners, speed, variety, produces great racing, unpredictable weather Disadvantages: Perhaps a little dangerous
A great circuit with as stated below, a huge variety of exciting bends which always brings out the best in racing in the modern term of the word. Murray Walker has a whale of a time commentating in the always wet and slippery conditions. The racing is always exciting. The pile-up at the start of 1998 GP (correct me if I'm wrong) was incredibly wreaking havoc and will never be forgotten.
The experience of driving through Eau Rouge must be immense ...

...could possibly want at a Formula 1 venue.
A quick dash down the short start-finish straight and your at the tight hairpin 'La Source' where there have been spectacular pile-ups in the past. A quick blast down the next straight and the most awesome corner in F1 looms up - 'Eau Rouge' which is taken flat out by those with the nerve!
The cicuit is long with a smoth surface and good run-off areas, and the long straights with tight corners make it ...

Recommend to sit anywhere! It's favoured by drivers and fans all over, and I haven't met anyone who has a bad word about it. ...
