Advantages: Cheap, central location Disadvantages: dirty, rather uninviting, noisy location
There's not really that much you can say about this hotel.
Generally very basic, and I mean BASIC and a little to close to the road for some people, but take a set of earplugs and you'll sleep fine!
Used by a lot of city break tour companies for a one night stay. ALSO used by a lot of "couples" (if you know what I mean) who arrive at 11.00 and are out the door by 3pm!
I found the rooms to be extremely dirty with need of a good clean, but obviously ... ...overnight! Staff often enter rooms and leave them open for the world to see, so take any valuables with you.
Good if you just want to put your head down for the night, but avoid if you want to use it as a base to visit London.
I paid £30 for my room, but be warned, there's no closet, so you will have to live out of your suitcase for the duration of your stay. Bathroom is out in the hallway and not very welcoming.

Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: shared toilets and showers and smelly
What a nightmare. A group of us had booked for one night, but not as a group booking. On arrival it seemed some of us had rooms, some didn't. I didn't mind the road - we were in London after all. But the smell was terrible, really disgusting and that was before we had gone into our room. The toilets are along the corridor and I haven't seen toilets that bad before.The first one didn't have a lock, but the light only goes on when the door is locked. ... ...seat etc that we didn't consider using it. Luckily the next one was just about useable if you didn't mind the very wet floor! The showers are also in the corridor, but we didn't bother with them. Of course that meant meeting semiclad strangers on way back to rooms. As well as the totally naked man that appeared. The rooms are very small and nowhere to put clothes etc. Though there was a large sink and a TV.our Tv had 3 channels and the remote worked ...
