Location, food, generally friendly staff - and the food (again)
They could think about laying out the restaurant differently
"Unlike most people arriving at Kevlavik airport, instead of following route 41 straight into the capital, we turned onto route 1, the only long-distance road in the country and kept on going. Hugging the western coast we headed north, through the three-and-a-half-mile Hvalfördur tunnel, and alongside the Borgafjördur before turning off towards the hamlet of Reykholt.
Here our first Icelandic bed for the night was to be found in the Fosshótel Reykholt.
