    The Fox and Hounds has always been something of a mystery to me. The odds are if you say to someone youre from Houston then theyll say 'Oh Ive been to the F&H' This begs the question - why? Ive been going there for years but mainly because its my local and the only pub in Houston with life about it. Why people literally come from miles around is beyond me. Now before I go any further Id like to just point out that this Houston is NOT in Texas but is 20 mins or so from Glasgow..... Now dont get me wrong, as pubs go, its nice.     This is a great wee pub situated in houston in renfrewshire. The bar area is to be found jam pack full of the younger generation at the weekend. Although the lounge area is suitable for relaxing at every age. This is not a boistrous pub and can boast visitors such as Ally McCoist or Petrov. The drinks are not the chaepest around, infact there not cheap at all. The Fox and Hounds also has a restaurant area upstairs serving great bar and restaurant meals at a reasonable price. This is a good local pub to visit if you are feeling like a quiet but expensive night out! ... more
