The hotel is pretty much everything that you would expect from a British 3*. We arrived early on the Saturday to find that the room wasn't available until 2pm which, although a slight inconvenience, was expected. Luckily they do supply a left luggage room which we able to leave our bags in for the day.
When we did check in we found our room to be of a good standard. The double bed was very comfortable, an ensuite ... ...given the price. Unfortunately the view was very poor but then you can't have everything!! There was the usual TV but unlike some hotels this did have some decent sky channels and I was actually able to watch the football while we got ready! The best part of the room was something that I only discovered when leaving, if you have your laptop, Wifi is free.
The overall decor of the hotel is quite interesting looking like a throw back to the 80s and ...
