I went to Florida in August 2005. What a fantastic place to go. We booked this holiday via the teletext and got a fly/drive deal at a really good price. Make sure you have a look on teletext before you go to the high street travel agents!!! The difference in price is terrible. I am instead going to offer some advice; I have been to the state five times so should be in a decent position to give you all some helpful advice to aide you if you are ever over there. If you have ever driven the coastal route from Clearwater to St. Petersburg beach, you will have driven through John's Pass. If you were a passenger in the vehicle I am sure you will have seen, or pulled over to check out John's Pass. This is a really unique area. Well...what can I say? I've been to Florida 8 times and each time I've gone I've loved every bit of it. With the theme parks, great weather, shopping malls, big cars, golden beaches and luxourious villas what more could you want on a holiday?? It is a superb airline for families although it can be pricey the kids get a back pack with loads of activities to do, you get a TV in the back of your seats and you get plenty of leg room. I am going to tell you all the things you can do there. In Florida there are lots of theme parks like Disney Land and Universal Studios. We went in a group of 7 and stayed in two villas over three weeks. although we were there for three weeks there was always plenty to do from the theme parks such as disneyland for an adventurous day, several beaches close by suitable for snorkelling and spear fishing.
