Totally relaxed, soaking up the sun, drinking rum, chatting with the friendliest people I've ever met, at Christmas!! Trinidad is a beautiful island with fun people. If you want to party and have a right laugh then trinidad is the best place to go to. The food is an exquisite mixture of most cultures from indian to chinese and spanish dishes. I would however say that the beaches are a bit of a disappointment however Tobago has the most gorgeous beaches and is not far. Best time to go is for the boat race at the end of August.
