The flight on 3 June leaving 1600 arriving at 19.55 was delayed by over 8 hours. AGAIN THE "DOOR PROBLEM" The flight departed Edinburgh at around 00.05 on Monday 4 June and arrived in Rome at approx 04.05 local time. No trian or buses at this time of the morning. Lost most of the first day of your holiday as a result. In addition to that baggage took over 25mins to appear. Also my wifes luggage was lost and we were left to sort this yout with THERE agent in Rome ariport who was usless. Wife retreived the case on retrun leg after hassleing the agent. Forget this bunch. I flew from manchester last weekend - 4.5 hours late leaving. 4.5 hours late on outward trip from Vancouver in mid-May. Once airborne, wait three hours for the bar, then another hour for a meal. Sorry Globespan, you might be OK flying to Spain, but on transatlantic, you are to be avoided. ...

I only booked Globespan flights to Hamilton because they were cheap. If you're in a rush/impatient then book elsewhere, long delays (none of the flights leaving/arriving at Hamilton have been on time since beginning of May 07) When finally get on the plane Globespan are blaming Hamilton Airport - when it wasn't their fault. False advertising led many people to believe they were landing in Toronto not 2 hours away in a small town called Hamilton. As well as delays, rude and incompetent staff, and pathetic excuses, Globespan are cheap - get what you pay for!!! ...

Did not live up to all the good reviews. I travelled from Edinburgh to Hamilton May 2008. We arrived at the airport and was quickly boarded on the plane. We had booked premier seats together, when we sat down we realised that the plane and crew were all from Iceland, the crew could only understand half of what the Scottish passengers were saying. The seats was dirty and the crew spent all their time with the small amount of business passengers. One ...

having just flown back from Calgary on this so called airline i wish i had taken the time to read the reviews on delays as if an airline is running late someone at the airport needs to be able to give passengers correct information with two major airports Calgary and Gatwick yet no one available to give information or help with onward journey flight connections Customer services is non exsistant favourite saying by the flight crew "back in a minute" so unless they can guarantee on time (therefore no one needs to be there) they need to learn from the flight attendant on our Easyjet flight back to Belfast who was excellent. ...

flew to hamilton 28th oct and returned 19th nov. flight out excellent,food good had worst meals in restaurants,flight attendants friendly and very helpful,return just as good but food wasnt as good as outward flight,but still very edible and enough of. check in at hamilton 5 mins for 4 people, and plane on way back wasn't full. will probably fly with these again, first class service etc for the price paid nearly £900.00 for four adults,return with premium upgrade ...

I have taken 4 flights this year Edinburgh/Nice with Flyglobespan and all of them were late varying between 1.5 to 4 hours. Very little information is ever available from them and their customer service is appalling. Letters to the chairman and customer relations departments go unanswered. They have a non existent phone service and would appear to have a service ethic based on British Rail circa 1970. The only thing about their product is they offer a direct service between Edinburgh and various European destinations. So if you do not mind being hours late, receive no meal compensation and no apologies of any merit then use this cowboy outfit.Otherwise stick to carriers who know something about air travel. ...

I used Globespan in 07 to fly to Hamilton, Canada. Never again. CAA branded this company as the worst in Scotland for delays. Globespan had their licence for transatlantic flights suspended at one point in 07-due to technical problems! I had a terrible experience with a very long flight delay in May. The onboard staff were not interested in the many complaints from passengers. My flight was hours late and took a detour fm Edi thro Stanstead b4 going ...

...2007 Having flown with Globespan on many occasions I have had nothing but praise for all aspects of their service. They are usually an excellent, no frills airline that have good flight times, are punctual and have an acceptable level of customer service given that I had no bad experiences with them previously. On the outbound Palma flight there was a published delay in of 60 minutes which given the amount of times I have flown with them was unexpected ...

Where do i start???? cheap flight... great!!!!! we were told by our travel agents we had 2o kilos in case n 5 kg in handluggage !!! on our way back home from spain we get charged for excess laggage with 118 kilos between 6 when we were allowed 150 kilos between 6 !!!! when we aproached desk 2 confront ''manager'' { who was a vile women called ANA} she told us 2 pay up or our cases would b taken off the flight nd we couldnt b garenteed a flight home!! when we told her what we were allowed she sniggered at us and said the system didnt work and we couldnt do nothing about it!!! great customer service!!!
