...a language barrier, when the Goldtrail rep arrived with an interpreter who was no use as his English was very limited. ...until 3am every morning. Goldtrail did nothing about my complaint. Never book with them. You will just be throwing good money after bad. You will be left to fend for yourself and if you write and complain you will get nowhere. They are an absolute disgrace to the industry and do not deserve to be in business. We are a young couple and were told that our hotel would be a short walk from the beach and the town, this was not a problem for us so we booked the hoilday. When we arrived in Gumbet we were the last to be dropped off, and all the other hotels seemed to be ok, until ours. It was up a very steep hill which in the turkish heat was a killer even ...

Booked flights with Goldtrail to Turkey some months before departure only to have them cancelled by Goldtrail 11 days before with no explanation.Took weeks to get money back.Took months using ABTA to get pathetic offer of compensation.8 months after accepting offer despite many letters,calls and emails-still waiting for money! NEVER AGAIN. Might be cheap but cost of cancelling car park,car hire and accommodation makes using Goldtrail an expensive mistake. ...

We flew to Dalaman as we booked a holiday with Goldtrail to Dalyan. When we arrived there we were told we would not be going to the apartments we booked, this was 6am. We were put in a 2* Hotel, room the size of a match box. After about 2 hours, thats all we could stand, we decided to find the Apartments we were booked into. We found them and were told Goldtrail had not been paying their bill so would not accept any more people booked with them. We were just left on a limb. Eventually we found some apartments ourselves for the fortnight . Would never book with them again. ...

Goldtrail are the worst travel company I have ever used. Our flight home from Bodrum-Glasgow was delayed by 13 hours and Goldtrail sent us to a hotel with no free rooms and we were made to sleep outside.We got nothing to eat or drink or any information throughout this whole time. We have written in complaint to Goldtrail and requested compensation but they have been rude and unhelpful and are unwilling to confirm the delay in writing so we can claim through our travel insurance. Don't book with them if you can help it, they are the most unhelpful and rude organisation I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. ...

...last time to turkey as goldtrail didnt exactly make it brilliant. Firstly where to start so many things to say, well ill start from the begining and let you know exactly whats good and bad. We booked our holiday from monday to monday which is 7 nights but thats not what we got, we actually only got 6 nights as our flight was on monday night at quarter to nine whihc means we arrived there quarter past 1 our time and quarter past three there time ...

Goldtrail are the worst ive ever come across. I totally know where the other reviewer is coming from as i was also agressively abused by goldtrail customer services? We wanted to change our flight time with onur air as we had an emergency at home to which we had to fly back urgently. We were given no assistance and were bluntly told it couldn't be done!! They were so rude about it!!!! It felt like they had our money now so they didn't care anymore? Well sorry goldtrail but you have lost our business and im going out my way to tell everyone about the bad services!!! ...

goldtrail worse company to book a holiday with.. after booking a relaxing holiday for me and my friend to gumbert with goldtrail we were informed a day before we flew the hotel we ad booked 6 months before hand was actually closing that day, on moving us to a different hotel (gumbert beach) the food was disgusting we ad to go down 147 steps to get to our room and had to relay on taxis everywhere. we didnt see a goldtrail rep for 10 days we were ...
...which we ad paid for.. goldtrail refused to give us food /drink vouchers and we were left to pay for everything for the duration of our holiday and because it was not a goldtrail hotel we didnt see any reps till we were at bodrum airport .. distusted by goldtrail and will never reccommend anybody go with this company .. they are quick enough to get the money of you for the holiday but then dont care what happens to you.. 22/10/2008.. shellbee, staffs ...

just came home from turkey first and last time travelers be warned dont book with this company we booked for a 4star hotel the hotel we where given was no more than a 1 star if that . the rep very rude we had towels left that someone else had used we reported fridge in our room not working never did anything about it charged us 60 lira for the safe which should of been 25 lira bedding very worn paintwork peeling off and dirty swimming pool never ...

I have recently got back from a holiday in turkey travelling with gold trail/onur air...My Overall Experience was a very good one...There were quite a few hitches along the way but we overcame them and had a fabulous time...Our hotel Abacus Gumbet (litera) was lovely...the rooms were very clean and accomated all our needs..the food at our hotel was 5* the staff were extremely friendly and efficient...so all in all i give this holiday 5* and i am even looking into going back in july!! ...

Holiday from hell at the Palmiye Hotel, Side, this was sold to us as a self catering holiday after the original one went down due to XL. The management was as disinterested as possible, rooms were filthy bedding was disgusting, took a week to get a light bulb changed and five days to get towels changed, bed sheet was never changed,and all you got was a sheet, had to suspend towels over the balcony as the waste ground outside was a local shortcut, ...

As per review from johnsandy, myself and my wife have just returned from marmaris having been put in the relax rather than the delux we booked. From day one at the litera relax the holiday was a complete nightmare. As stated in most reviews the service was appauling with the staff and most of all manager being rude and arrogant. The food was not fit for an animal (although there was plenty of stray dogs and cats sat around the pool to justify this), ...
