Advantages: Peaceful Location Disadvantages: Lack of basic shops
We booked a last minute holiday to the Costa Adeje Palace Hotel at Easter this year. Having been to Tenerife before and stayed neared the centre of Playa de Las Americas I was looking for somewhere a bit quieter with good facilities. This certainely fitted the bill.
LOCATION
It is the last Hotel in Costa Adeje before you reach Caleta. There is a lot of building work going on around but that didnt put us off. Indeed I think when I next go back which ... ...too built up round about.
It could do with some shopping malls nearbly( to buy the obligotory perfume and girlie things) but I think this will be catered for in the not to distant future. It will certainely be an advantage. We needed some basics juice water etc for the children and my husband walked to the right of the hotel from the promendade as you came out the gate in front of the pool area. Advantages: Nice and peacelful. Disadvantages: Could be too far out for families.
My husband and myself spent two weeks here last year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As the other reviewer said it is the last hotel before La Caletta, but nevertheless we were not put off by this.
The hotel was clean the staff friendly and the food was very good. The hotel also runs a shuttle bus daily to Playa de las Americas and bringsyou back if you like to shop!!!!!! otherwise if you like to walk it is ideal for a leisurely stroll.
