Advantages: Good cheap food,ambience,T-shirts Disadvantages: Waiting time for a table
"HArd Rock cafe"(HRC) is a chain of restaurants across all major cities and toursit attractions across the globe.HRC is infact one place I usually never miss out if its present in the city i visit.This to describe in short is a "restaurant cum rock 'n roll museum rolled into one ".This review is more generally on HRC that I have visited in many places(NY,Paris,Rome,Berlin,Niagara Falls) and not exclusively on the joint in NY.
Food : The menu is ... ...,which is an all veggie affair,but non-veggies ,no problems you have almost equivalent and even more varied choices,as always:
Starters:
My fav and the one that i recommend not to miss are the Mexican Nachos.They are the best I have had so far with lots of corn,beans,Mexican chillies,Cheddar cheese 'n cream dippings.Absolutely yummy !!!!!!!! Other one wud be usually smoked potato skins or crispy Onion rings.
The usual choices of my non-veg frendz ...

Advantages: Nice food, Good atmosphere Disadvantages: Price
...City by focusing on The Hard Rock Cafe. It is situated just off broadway on 57th St.
We went there on a tuesday night, with no reservation, and was told we would have to wait about 15 mins, but actually waited only 5. Whilst we waited we were directed to the bar which was tiny and packed. We were given a electronic tag which indicated to us when our table was ready.
The restuarant was decorated in memento's of those people that had been to the ... ...was not bad (American Burger for me) and for NYC not too expensive (about $12-$15 as I remember). We didn't have to wait long either.
While we was eating, one of the waitresses decided to get us all up out of our seats and play YMCA which we had to dance too. Not quite What I had expected to do.
They have a gift shop area near the exit, which sold T-shirts, Caps, Jackets etc.. I decided to pick up a T-Shirt as a memento of my time there, although ...

I have been to other HRC in various places around the world. On a recent trip to NYC I decided to take a visit to the HRC. HRC is situated on 57th Street, not far from Broadway. It's in a nice part of town, not far from Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Broadway and the shops - ideal for a trip. It was a Wednesday afternoon in May 2005 and the weather was not great. We found the HRC easily and went inside. Initial thoughts and impressions were pretty ... ...world. The lighting was low, the music was rock, the tables and floor were wooden and the waiters / waitresses had the typical black HRC logo uniform on. There were the usual guitars, discs, pictures and HRC bits on the walls creating an initial and general good ambiance.
We were allocated a table for 2 almost immediately. There was plenty of room but the table we were assigned was small (even for 2) and wabbled. The lighting around was very low ...
