Advantages: Well explained, interesting, something for all the family Disadvantages: Not that easy to find
Harrison's caves are in the parish of St. Thomas they are quite difficult to find due to the fact that in Barbados they feel it is only necessary to put up a sign post every so often. Meaning that you will have come to several turn offs and junctions and not have a clue which way to go, its pot luck really!!! An island map is essential in this country! But as for the caves when you get there, they are fantastic, they are truly beautiful. The tours ... ...informed and the whole experience was delightful and a must for families. You really won't believe your eyes when you see the stalactites, stalagmites, streams, lakes and underground waterfalls, its like being in an enchanted fairy tale world. As your looking at the amazing wonders before your eyes it is difficult to believe that it is all real. My children felt like they were in a magical wonderland!
