Advantages Advantages Great variety of music

Disadvantages Disadvantages Closed Tuesdays, does get busy

This is probably the best club ever known! There are three different floors, three different tastes to absorb, and six great nights out to be had here! Situated in the Grand Arcade in Leeds, it is fairly easy to find -and you'll recognise it from the size of the ques, but they go down quick enough! On each floor is a different themed area. As you enter on the ground floor you walk into "Bar Purgatory" which hosts a great culture mix of people who swing to the soul and R 'n' B/Hip hop type music. There's a bar, toilets and floor on two levels, complete with sixties style seats that dangle on ... more

Leeds is the place to be. Maybe I'm biased, I made some great friends and met my boyfriend there when I moved there 2 years ago as a student (boo!) But one of the clubs I hold closest to my heart is Heaven & Hell. Of all the nights out, the trendy clubs and the overpriced bars, H&H has always offered a fun, often cheesy and reasonably priced night out. If you've read the other opinions of H&H, you'll have gathered by now that there are 3 floors in total, Heaven (top)playing the cheesiest music ever from current pop - Steps, S Club 7 to classic cheese MC Hammer (a personal fave of mine!) and ... more

Advantages Advantages Music for all tastes

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Busy and hot

If you're ever in Leeds amd fancy a good night out be it at a weekend or midweek then you should pay a visit to Heaven and Hell. Be warned though -it will be busy except if you go in the student holidays. It has three floors of music - heaven for you cheese lovers, bar purgatory to chill out in and Hell for those who like nothing more than to boogie to house tunes all night. At a weekend, like all night clubs it is pricey to get in and drinks are expensive but midweek is a whole different matter. Ranging from 80p to £4 entrance depending on the weekenight you'd be hard pushed to spend £20 with ... more

Advantages Advantages 3 floors to suit any1's taste in music

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none really

Heaven and Hell is probably the best club in Leeds. Whatever music takes your fancy it caters for all.For all you evil people theres hard house anthems in the basement in hell while for you little angels theres cheesey pop music upstairs in heaven. For those who are into R&B theres bar perguatry situated on the middle floor. Saturday nights are the best nights for all you serious clubbers to go because Heaven & Hell open glasshouses til 10am but all week long theres fun to be had. On mondays thers the worm which is Heaven & Hells student night with many special offers on drinks. Deffinately ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good vibe

Disadvantages Disadvantages Loses appeal after a few visits

Heaven & Hell, situated in the Grand Arcade, Merrion Street, Leeds. Very good location, close to other bars, clubs, take-aways and the most important - a taxi rank. This isnt the most trendy club in Leeds, but a good experience. Club located on 3 floors - basement Hell playing hard house and trance with a nice cage in the centre and a few poles scattered around, so youre never short of a dance partner. Ground floor Purgatory playing rnb and hiphop, has some funky egg shaped seats and a bar, but a bit small. And the upstairs Heaven playing the usual cheesy stuff, two bars and the VIP room, and ... more
