The Hilton London Docklands is built directly opposite Canary Wharf on the other side of the Thames, an area of massive redevelopment. I booked this hotel over the phone via a deal from teletext (£159 for 2 people b&b and dinner on the 1st night). The hotel runs a shuttle service from the nearest tube station which is handy as its quite a way away from the hotel. When we arrived i thought the enterance and reception areas were a little tired and boring looking. The staff were pleasent though and we got our room key.
