Boasting excellent motorway connections and contemporary accommodation with comfortable beds, this modern hotel is ideally located for easy access to Chester city centre and North Wales.
Advantages: Location, value Disadvantages: No pool
Holiday Inn Chester West is situated in North Wales, at Northop Hall, near Mold, just off the A55. [So, not in Chester at all, but I’m sure you’ll agree that “Holiday Inn Chester West” has a better chance of selling itself than “Holiday Inn Mold”!] The hotel is on three floors and was renovated in 2003. The hotel does not have a pool, but it does offer a gym on the second floor. I did not use it so cannot comment on the facilities offered in the gym, but access to it is offered free of charge.
The Rooms
I stayed in a ground floor standard double room which looked out over the car park and A55. Even though the room overlooked the road, I could not hear the traffic outside.
