Advantages: Location Disadvantages: Cost Lack of facilites
...spent two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Glasgow in August 2007. We actually booked in for three nights but left early to go to a different hotel.
First Impressions
The hotel is bright, clean and modern with a good standard of decoration throughout. We arrived at 2am and I had told the person we would be late when I booked the hotel. Facilities were pretty poor. There is a self service breakfast area where you can help yourself to tea, coffee, toast, cereal, pastries and fruit in the morning. The selection was limited and everything was pre packed, and pretty basic.

Advantages: Location, parking Disadvantages: Price a little steep for a budget hotel
...next door to the main holiday inn for food and drink. If you don't fancy on site catering then pick from Glasgows finest with a seemingly infinite number of restaurants and eateries nearby.
If you are driving a car then don't worry as it is fairy easy to find and parking is around £1 overnight in the multi-storey opposite and the M8 is easily access nearby.
Price per night varies usually around £65 per room per night which is a great deal for families ...
