Holiday Inn Express Liverpool-Knowsley, Liverpool

When staying overnight in this part of the world, I normally use the Premier Travel Inn at Aintree but they wanted £79 midweek excluding breakfast so I decided to investigate other options. Having passed the HI Express numerous times on my way to/from Liverpool, I had a look at their website was pleasantly surprised to find the room price was only £55 including breakfast. The hotel has 80+ rooms over 4 floors and has a lift. I chose a smoking room ...

The room itself had tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, tv, internet access (wired), extra pillows and enough hanging/storage space for a few days stay. The bathroom was very clean and a good size with a walk-in shower. I think most of the rooms have showers so, if you're a bath person, it might be worth checking on booking. I stayed in the hotel a couple of weeks ago and was very very pleased with my whole experience. when we arrived we got a great quick and easy welcome by the staff and where given directions to our room. in the lift we went up to the 3rd floor we stepped out of thr lift and the space in the hallways was huge and was very clean and very modern. we found our room easily and we opened the door to find the most amazing view out of our window.
