Advantages: Value for money, good facilities, near "Music City" centre Disadvantages: Bus ride to malls if you're there for the shopping
...I was surprised that this Holiday Inn - one of the overflow hotels was listed as being only 2 star. I needn't have worried. It proved to be a more than adequate base for my stay and had some great plus points which to me puts it more in the 3 star level as far as we Brits grade hotels. I paid about £70 a night booked direct.
The room was typical Holiday Inn Express, no frills, clean, basic furnishings, but with huge US tv and very comfy king size ... ...don't get that in British Holiday Inn Express.) Hotel had copious "all you can eat" buffet breakfast, and no-one seemed to mind you taking out "supplies" for sustenance during the day. Nice bonus was the free afternoon snack of bbq sausages and popcorn which were dispensed around tea time in the lobby. This hotel has an excellent fitness room with all imaginable equipment and a small but adequate outdoor swimming pool with loungers for chilling out.
