Advantages: Good standard Holiday Inn Disadvantages: Food not great, distance from a train - reliance on buses.
...typical of that of most holiday inns i have stayed. The bed was comfortable, there was a desk, iron and ironing board and i tv with standard channels and some satelite channels - mainly news. The bar - decent range of drinks - the house white wine was pretty good and only £3.50 which i thought was fair considering it was a hotel bar in London. Food - first night we ate at the bar. I had a margerita pizza. What can i say.... well it came it still ... ...but on this occasion i let the staff know and they couldn't do enough for me. The pizza went back and came out 5-6 mins later piping hot. They also brought me another glass of wine free of charge as way of an apology. I'm easily pleased!!!
There is another place to eat in the hotel - the main restuarant area where most meals are served buffet style. The food here was actually pretty good, although not sensational. Gym - there is one here and i did ...
