...stay 21St June 2003 Holiday Inn Republic, Paris, France This is a big hotel near the centre of Paris, the website makes it look great, the façade and location are impressive, its got 4 stars, and loads of facilities BUT don’t go there unless you get a deal for £100 or less for two per night. ...of the other 20 odd Holiday Inn full service hotels I’ve stayed in, how it manages 4 stars is beyond me. In fact the Holiday Inn Express’s I’ve stayed in are better than this place and half the price. I stay in 100+ hotels every year and this is the worst value for money hotel I’ve been in. We stayed at the holiday inn republique on the 19th and 20th May 2007 this hotel was excellant the room was great an art deco design we had sky TV and the room was exceptionally clean. We ordered room service which came very quickly and the food was super. We would definatly stay here again. The food was quite expensive but it is Paris. ...
