Advantages: Well priced. Great location Disadvantages: Basic hotel.
I have stayed at the Hotel Aris Nord in Paris on a number of occasions. Whilst it is not a luxurious hotel it is functional, friendly and reasonable and I would highly recommend it.
Location
It is ideally located for Eurostar trips to Paris being about 5 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. It is also 5 minutes walk away from Gare du L'est so is in easy reach of the Metro and mainline.
The Rue du Fauborg is an exciting street (although quiet enough ... ...priced.
Price
The hotel has rooms ranging from €80 - €200 per night and has single/ double/ triple and twin rooms. We have used it for the world cup and have not paid more than €85 per night, although that may change for the final this weekend. Breakfast is not included in the price but there is a great bakery opposite selling croissant for €1 so I would go there. You can buy breakfast in the hotel for €12 per person but at that price for average ...
