Advantages: Quite cheap, clean
Disadvantages: not in centre & taxis are not cheap!!

...January this year and the hotel was about £225 for the two of us - inc. basic continental breakfast. We didnt book hotel transfer - wish we had cos the taxi charged us about £20 - for a half hour/ 40mins tranfer - so make sure you book a transfer cos we did get ripped off! I would not recommend getting the metro as there are loads of steps to get to the metro station and some of the escalators are really steep and you feel as though its straight ... Read review

...fron Prague and thought this hotel definitely deserved a review! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for four nights Sunday - Thursday. Where is it? The Hotel Duo is not right in the centre of Prague, you do have to do a bit of traveling - but this is pain free and pretty simple. From the airport we booked a transfer online, this cost us 650Kc. Disadvantages: Out of town, charges for use of facilties usually free in UK 4* hotels

...could have booked with the hotel and paid Kc650 and there was a cheaper provider - one of the tour operators charged Kc550 for two people (you just rang up to book them) but if you could get in a party of 4 from the hotel it still only cost Kc650 so it pays to find someone to share! You can do this journey by bus and metro, but you have to watch out for pickpockets and this would be difficult if you also had to manage luggage, and change trains ... Read review

...for a cheap deal and Hotel Duo was a great deal. The staff are extremely friendly and all speak english, so don't worry about that. The hotel lobby and bars are very nice, clean and spacious, although don't expect that from your room, ours was very small, but it was clean and we weren't there to look at four walls anyway.
