    After living in Amsterdam for a few years I make frequent return trips. I have finally found a hotel that fits all of my criteria. On the junction of Overtoom and 1e Constatijn Huygensstraat it is perfectly situated with the Leidseplein with its many restaurants close by, and conveniently located for the Vondelpark and the museum quarter. Trams to all areas of the city are only a few minutes away. The hotel itself is reasonably priced. First impressions on entering the reception were that it was going to be a good stay.     When I’ ve returned from my trip to Amsterdam I have discovered to have been charged on my credit card the amount of 155 Euros. I payed all my bill cash in the hotel, I have payed twice. I’ ve sent all the documents to the hotel and to Booking.com. It passed a month without receive answers from the hotel. WARNING!!!! In this hotel, at beginning of September, a triple room costs 150 Euros, more than what they pubblicy on internet. Add to this 5% city hall taxes. Break fast not included (another 9 euros per person), if you choose to pay with credit card they charge you an extra 5%. No, thanks ... more
