Hotel Gothia Towers, Gothenburg

This is the largest hotel in the city of Gothenburg. Don't expect a hotel the size of the Waldorf Astoria in New York or the Bellagio in Las Vegas. It's a little more compact than that, however, it is a wonderful hotel that I would recommend to anyone visiting Gothenburg. The hotel is in a nice area of the city and there is a theme park practically on your doorstep. The hotel is easily identifiable from most parts of the city with its two towers. I visited this hotel when i visited Gothenburg recently. As you walk in to the massive lounge you are greeting by wonderful decor and staff that are immacuatley turned out. I made the mistake of not booking in advance and despite there being a boat convention on in the hotel (which was attracting people from around the world) and it being 9pm in the evening the lady at reception went out of her way to find me a room after it was initially found to be full.
