Advantages: cheap, funky, well located. Disadvantages: location not so suitable for families
The hotel Londres & Anvers - Paris
My wife and i recently had the pleasure of being able to get away from it all, with a short break in Paris. I am hoping that this might be of use to you guys, because we were doin Paris on a budget. We do not have a fortune, yet we wanted to fully enjoy and appreciate paris.
Known for being one of the most expensive cities in the world, Paris is culture capital of the world. There really is something for everything. ... ...so first thing first, this hotel may not be the most suitable for families. However the hotel itself is very well located, as it is literally two minutes walk from the Gard du Nord, which is one of the largest train stations in the city. We were able to get a train from Charles de Gaulle, to the Gard du Nord for very little, and the hotel was in sight of the main entrance to the station.
