Hotel Manhattan, Bangkok

As a fairly regular visitor to Bangkok, I always book flights and then sort out my own accommodation rather than get a package deal. Accommodation is cheap and plentiful there, we're talking £10 - £15 per night for what might equate to a three star hotel. However, a tip I learned is that if you book through a Thai travel agent, you can get a fair sized discount on the "walk-in" rates. It's very conveniently located in Sukhumvit, the business and one of the main tourist areas of Bangkok.
