...experience and have sold this hotel on many occassions without problems so when a good deal came up, I decided to take my family, and thought it was a pretty safe bet. We ended up not getting into our room until 23 1/2 hours after we'd paid for it- Not a good start. They did of course still expect us to check out on time- cheeky! ...spending many years working in hotel establishments, i believe this will be the best review you get... Visited this hotel in January 2008 - hotel & food were superb - resort small - but plenty of scope for gentle walks after dinner. Transfer was along cliffs, through tunnels with sheer drops - great views - before we even arrived at the hotel. Stunning. Crazy golf in centre of resort was excellent - 18 holes based on landmarks around Europe. Beach was black sand - sadly the water to wash when leaving the beach didn't work. Hotel offered free Courtesy bus into both Puerto Mogan & Puerto Rico - which was a real bonus - 2 completely free trips. Only 4 cocktails on All Inclusive basis - but plenty of other local drinks to try - lots of Swedish tourists at this resort - made a change from loads of Germans - will definitely revisit Gran Canaria. ...
