When looking for a hotel in New York this time around, I had a few more factors to consider compared to last time, as I was taking my mum I wanted to make sure that she was in a good location next to the shops and would be able to find her way around easy enough. I booked the Thirty Thirty hotel after looking on hotels.com and finding the pictures looked really nice. I also checked on a popular review site and although reviews where slightly mixed, most enjoyed the hotel. I had lost my bags on my flight to New York so whilst checking in at the hotel I told the reception about this and they were very helpful and reassuring. ...The location of the hotel is not the best, the walk is around 15 minutes to the centre. But you do so much walking in New York anyway that you dont really notice it. The actual room was fantastic, I'm not sure if it was because we had an end room but it was really big. The shower was very large and the bed was really comfy. ...go through. I expect standard service at a three star hotel, however this location was far from adequate. The only positive aspects about this hotel was the high pressured showers and the location from the shopping district. I would recommend staying at a Days Inn rather than at Hotel Thirty-Thirty ...
