Advantages: Comfortable Small Hotel with Character Disadvantages: A tiny lift!
...never stayed in a Swiss Hotel before and I understand they are all of good quality, but this hotel had so much character too.
Location (1 Rue des Marbrieres)
As I walked everywhere, I will give you approximate walking times from places:-
20 minutes from the main station (Gare Cornavin)
20 minutes from the Old town
15 minutes from the English Garden with the view of the Jet D'Eau
15 minutes from the main shopping area
5 minutes from the nearest ... ...it like:-
It's a tiny hotel - only 40 odd rooms, which I always find much more comfortable than some of the bigger hotels where you just feel lost. As you would expect with a name like Hotel Tiffany, it's full of Tiffany style lamps and Art Nouveau features - including things like the headboards. My room was at the top of the hotel - floor 5. I could get the very, very small lift to the 4th floor, but I had to walk up the last flight - not too bad ...
