Advantages: Many of them, flight not too long, very high quality, great food, great location, fantastic! Disadvantages: The sun went down a little too early...but you cannot blame the hotel for that!
We went to this hotel in October, the weather was certainly hot enough at that time of year. I had seen pictures on the internet, but know from experience that often pictures can be deceiving!
We flew from Manchester, with a flight of just 5 hours, which is long enough to sample the food that the flight had to offer (Mmmmm!) and watch a film. It is not a bad flight time to somewhere that has great weather and fantastic culture. I had been to Egypt ... ...well organized. We seemed to get off the plane on to a coach quite quickly. It was dark by the time be landed, so not realizing that we were travelling through the Sinai Mountains, as I couldn't see them, I presumed the driver was a typical Egyptian not able to keep the vehicle going in a straight line! They are pretty scary on the roads! But on the journey back to the airport two weeks later, realized he had actually done quite well! The Hotel was ...

Went to this fabulous hotel at the end of November....
What an experience !!!! Flight from London Gatwick took abou 4-5 hours, but it was enjoyable jurney with nice meal, snacks and movie. Booked it with Longwood Holidays. Can't fault them. Transfer from Taba airport to the hotel took about 45 mins. When we arrived there, oh my.... What a place, fountains outside the hotel, green palm trees... Sainai mountains in the background.....
The hotel is ... ...bedouin style located in pretty gardens. Everywhere so green, you would never thought that you are in the middle of the desert!!!
2 big swimming pools but designed in such way that it seems that there is at least 5 or 6 different pools. All sunbeds are wooden and you get fresh towel for your sunbed everyday (free of charge) with a mattress. We booked it as winter bonanza and paid £549 each for 2 weeks. Great value.
