IMAX

Wow, this was amazing, and it sure was worth going to Sydney for! There was huge galleried seating, and, in front of it all, there was a massive screen - in fact it was the world's biggest! The film was amazing - it began as if you were in a helicopter - and it sure felt like it! We all felt we needed seatbelts! We did have to wait an hour to get in - but the wait was worth it, and there were interesting exhibits - related to the film - to look ...
...way so that the person's head in front doesn't irritate you, and it works. But, what surprised me, is that there was no popcorn available. Surprising if you consider this is the world's largest screen cinema! Well, anyway, it was worth the wait and the money - and it was the highlight of my day. A truly mindblowing experience! (Good for no popcorn) ...

Sydney's IMAX Theatre in Darling Harbour is home to the world's largest movie screen at a whopping 80 storeys high! The building itself is the shape of an eye, decorated in yellow and black aluminium checks, which was designed by and Australian architect by the name of Lionel Glendinning.
