I don't think I'm being harsh

Advantages: Bearable
Disadvantages: Awful food, rude staff

But, Iberia Airlines are easily the worst airline I have flown with. On a lighter note (there must be one somewhere), they errr can fly planes, yes that they can do. I thought I could Spell BA. I B E R I A

Advantages: Very clean and a little extra leg room
Disadvantages: You have to pay for everything and not well informed

...ushered my off to the Iberia check in with no explaination. It was Iberian check in that informed me that I was in fact flying with them and checked me in. They were very helpful and gave me my requested seat and gate so so far so good. not my favourite - but I have no choice..

Advantages: very good route network in Spain and South America, sometimes good deals
Disadvantages: the rest, no free food, frequent delays, unfriendly staff

I flew Iberia two weeks ago from Munich to Almeria via Madrid and not for the first time. With 300 Euros, the ticket was expensive (and I booked 3 months ahead) but what can you do - the only alternative flies only once a week. We arrived more than 2 hours prior to depature only to find a tremendous que there. Check-in took almost 40 minutes which is not acceptable. There were no self-check-in facilities with luggage as eg Lufthansa has. The flight ...

Advantages: we got there in the end?
Disadvantages: we got there 2 days late...

Iberia provide a range of flights to and from Spain. I have flown with them a few times, including flying via Madrid to central America via Florida! The planes are ok. The food is Ok but nothing to write home about. Madrid airport is quite nice. But the service is appalling - even if you attempt to speak a bit of Spanish. Why I won't be flying BA/Iberia again?

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: "budget" airline at national carrier prices!!

...informed was that in March Iberia went over to a "no frills" policy. All food and drink (including water) is charged for. Even a request for a glass of tap water for a 3-year-old was refused. Not a very good airline company...

Advantages: Business class is nice, Nice staff
Disadvantages: Seats close together, luggage often lost or returned after many days, Food costs money

Iberia was ONE of the best airlines some years back but because of the lack of services and many times luggage is lost it has become a major dissapointment. I used to travel and still do with Iberia since they are cheaper then other airlines (When I usually travel), food used to be free onboard but now you have to pay around 5 pounds for a little menu (8 euros) and the worst thing is that in economy class the seats are so close together that you ...

Terrible service on iberia!!!

Disadvantages: Delayed luggage and stolen goods. Poor customer service!!

We flew with Iberia over Christmas and after my horrible experience with the airline I will never fly them again. Firstly, when we arrived at our destination we were told (after waiting over an hour for our luggage) that it never made it to the plane on our departure (it was left in Madrid) and that we would only get our luggage in the next few days. Eventually when we did get our luggage we found that a number of items (Christmas gifts for family) ...
