We have just returned from the Torviscas Playa (September 2007). On first impressions, I wasn't sure as the building looking like it needed a little paint. However, once inside the hotel is clean and well kept with shiny marble floors everywhere. The Reception staff are efficient and really friendly. On arrival the Hotel supplies a small token orange drink, which we thought was a nice touch. The Hotel is in Costa Adeje and is very near to shops, ...

Its very close to the beach and there are steps from the hotel, so not good for prams but you can get to the beach another way, which takes an extra 5mins. We have been to this hotel 3 times now and it just gets better. The hotel staff are friendly, especially the bar and restaurant staff, who can't do enough for you. The rooms are bright and airy and have fridges which are really useful for storing drinks. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds. Admittedly you have to be down early to secure the best positions round the pool but there are usually enough everyone, even later in the day. The ...
