Advantages: Good standard of accommodation, reasonably priced Disadvantages: Very poor location!
...you would expected from any Ibis hotel - basic clean rooms. Rooms all had TV and ours was relatively spacious. The hotel has a small bar/restaurant area. We never ate in the hotel so can't comment on food (although menu very limited) but it didn't have much atmosphere and it would just be for a quick drink. In terms of other facilities that is about it there is no swimming pool or gym etc.
The staff let down this hotel as they were very unfriendly. ... ...much better service than us! And although I do speak Spanish they were not at all helpful with any questions. The biggest draw back of this hotel is the location and this is primarily the reason for my overall rating. We booked on the basis that it was meant to be about 10mins away from the centre of Barcelona. It actual fact it is about 15 to 20 mins away by car (it usually cost a minimum of £10 in a taxi each way). It is located next to a motorway ...
