Advantages: good location, cheap, clean Disadvantages: no luxury whatsoever
I stayed in this hotel of February of this year and it wasn't all that bad. I wouldn't have choosen it if i was looking for anything remotely like a bit of luxury as it is very far from it. But if you are having a city break and just want somewhere to crash it is perfect. The rooms are very simple and most have a balcony, although it isn't really somewhere you would want to sip a G and T and admire the view. as the hotel is surrounded by Soviet-Style ... ...the somewhat small rooms. Although they may be small thought the rooms are very clean and in good condition. The bathroom is well equipped and the additon of thermostat controlled heating is very welcomed in the Hungarian winter.
The hotel overall is adequate but nothing to make a song and dance about. There's quite a poor gift shop and the receptions staff don't speak very good english, but it's good enough to be able to check in. Breakfast was ...
