It could be so great, but it's not.

Advantages: Great transport links, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Dirty, rather soulless

...is a part of the Ibis chain, and it's got a pretty clear ethos- clean, comfortable, and budget. They provide basic rooms with ensuite bathrooms without such amenities as tiny soaps, shoe shining kits, and other superfluous items. This helps to keep costs down, whilst giving you what you need and want.
