Ibis Sheffield - the heat is on, no it's off again!

Advantages: Good location, good value for money
Disadvantages: No additional facilties

A low budget weekend getaway (thanks to National Express for the £1 each way offer!) called for a low cost hotel. I remembered someone saying that the Accor family member Etap now had a hotel in Sheffield but, situated by the Don Valley Stadium, it was a little too far out of town to be practical for such a short stay. Advantages: In the City Centre
Disadvantages: No Car Parking

The rooms are clean and basic but attractively furnished with a lift to all 6 floors. The breakfast ...
...and snack bar available too. The hotel doesn't have it's own car park but there is a pay and display opposite the entrance to the hotel. A short walk, uphill, you will find the stop for the tram which gives you a direct link to Meadowhall - a shoppers paradise! - as well as the Arena, Don Valley Stadium, Ice Sheffield and other city attractions. A wide choice of restaurants are also in the vacinity of this hotel and the reception staff are only ...
