Advantages: A beautiful, clean, friendly, warm and relaxing holiday Disadvantages: Have to come home afterwards
...you think.!
My first encounter with Ibiza was 5 years ago, my friend, her Husband, Daughter (then 21) and Son then (18) were going and asked if my youngest Daughter, then (18) and myself would like to go as they were renting a 6-8 berth apartment, all we had to do was pay our fare, put in towards food and find some spending money, which we did.
Now although I was excited, I was rather apprehensive as I had heard so much about Ibiza and especially ...

...to the Balearic Island of Ibiza to start a year as a Holiday Rep.
I was 23 years of age, and had lived on my own since I was 19, so the whole “moving away” malarkey wasn’t that new to me. I was already fully capable of washing my own clothes, doing my own shopping and I even held experience in getting rid of those really fast spiders that invade your house in early summer.
(The huge ones you bravely try to catch with your bare hands, completely ...

...was left on offer was Ibiza or a long-haul destination that unfortunately our budget couldn’t quite stretch to.
San Antonio was a long distant memory; it was some 20 years since I’d experienced the thrill and excitement of my first holiday without my parents! Ibiza had certainly opened my eyes even back then, and without boring you with the details of my mis-spent youth, I didn’t relish the thought of returning to Ibiza as a middle-aged mother, ...

...When people used to mention Ibiza I couldn’t even begin to imagine what it is actually like, after returning from my second trip I think I’m no longer deluded and reality has actually hit home. Ibiza is a great holiday destination for all types of people, but not a place I think I will ever return to again.
So what has happened to make me change my mind?

Advantages: The perfect holiday, entertainment excellent, always things to do, great weather! Disadvantages: Was ill a few days which sorta spoilt it, need to stay a fortnight to see everything
I have recently been to Ibiza for the very first time. And boy, was it worth the wait! I am writing this as my personal account of the holiday, even though I went with my family (a big one!).
The flight on the way to Ibiza was excellent when flying with First Choice Airways. The entertainment on the way there was great with the TV screens and also the meal which was included with my package hoilday. The views out the window were breathtaking when ...

...Myself and Paul went to Ibiza in the summer of 2001 so any prices listed below have probably changed since the introduction of the Euro.
We paid around 189.00 pounds each for a week’s self-catering in San Antonio in early September. You can still find holidays for around this price in many of your local travel agents. There are plenty of hotels and self-catering apartments scattered around the island, ranging from the very grotty to 5 star luxury. ...

Advantages: Beautiful island with varied experiences Disadvantages: It has the reputation of being a lager louts haven in the summer
...the mid 1990’s, I visited Ibiza many times, and I have the memories of a beautiful island, gorgeous beaches, seemingly endless sunshine, and nightlife that I had never witnessed before, and since then, I have never had matched. It is an island with different cultures, and each resort has it’s own unique qualities. The island has two images. The first is the clubbers paradise, and the second is a safe family destination. Believe it or not, both are ...

I have been to Ibiza 3 times now and l really don’t know why l have held off writing an opinion on the island, but l just returned from my third trip there on Sunday evening.
When you tell some one you’re off to Ibiza it is usually met with looks of pity - oh you off raving, are you a mentalist or are you mad! Well yes Ibiza is the clubbing capital of the world and yes San Antonio is a bit of a 18 - 30's nightmare - drunk teenagers ...

We stayed in San Antonio Bay in a hotel. We was only a few minutes away from the beach as we just had to cross a road and we was there.
The beaches are all small in Ibiza but there are quite a ...

Advantages: Absolute paradise - and not just for clubbers! Disadvantages: Its reputation doesn't do it any favours.
Ibiza is a place of such natural beauty that I never thought to see its like this side of the afterlife. The island’s name is its sole disfigurement, for it has been wronged at every level of tittle-tattle media, and been made a pariah by well-informed ignorance, and Chinese whispers. The rumours are wrong. It is an island of exquisite contrast. Peaceful yet frighteningly busy. Ferry-taxis the size and shape of bullets ejaculate from tiny coves, ...

...Figeruetas, about 15 minutes from Ibiza Town mid September - £532 for two adults, one child, flying with Thomsons from Gatwick at some unearthly hour of the night. The apartments were literally on the sea front, and the restaurant was an open air affair overlooking the water, ...

Outside the very built-up, package holiday, 18-30 urban sprawl that is San An, the rest of the island is quite nice. Ibiza town is much classier, and is where most of the local population lives. The harbour is full of ...

Before I went to Ibiza I knew what to expect. I expecting it to be a bit of a dump, seeing people having sex, drugs, people drunk and throwing up.

I went to Ibiza last summer with a group of friends. Well, we didn’t just go to clubs and overall I discovered an Ibiza and an atmosphere which I was not expecting!!
The holiday was not long in itself, but if you ask me, it was just about right! We stayed 5 days and 4 nights. In total ...
