JD Wetherspoons Pub, Crawley

This may be more of a moan, than an opinion, but I am so mad I had to tell you all. My Mum was celebrating her birthday on Easter Sunday, so we decided to get some of the family together and have a nice lunch. There was going to be 10 adults and 2 children, after many suggestions turned down by all, too expensive, food not good, don't like carvery and not enough veggie options among the reasons, we settled on 'The Jubilee Oak' a J D Wetherspoons pub in Crawley (near Gatwick). With there not been a huge choice of bars in Crawley (near Gatwick) Wetherspoons is always an obvious winner due to its trademark of having cheap beer. It is practically the only pub South of London where you can purchase a pint for under £2.00. Mondays are a firm favourite with many bottles of reef, stella etc been 99p which always attracts a crowd. There is a range of beers on tap and the bar also offers a good selection of tropical cocktails for £6.00 a jug. Bargain!!!
