Jerudong (Brunei)

Jerudong Park is one of the best theme parks you can go to - and the best thing of all is that it is entirely free! The sultan, bless him, has generously provided this massive playground for the amusement of his subjects - and lets face it there isn't much else to do in Brunei!! The only downside is that not all the rides are open - apparently because the Sultan can no longer afford to pay the wages of all the staff needed. Anyway, there's go-karting, ...

Although the amusement park is no longer free, it is still worth the trip. Not all of the rides are working but the ones that are still do manage to take your breath away. The prices for the rides are reasonable and although you can spend as much as you want, you could also go to the park with a budget and have a good time. If you decide to go to the park, I would recommend the drop, the rollercoaster and breakdance. Breakdance is a strenuous ride ...
...seems to be an eternity but if you manage to ride it without puking up, you will be held in great esteem by your friends forever. While you are at the park, you should also make it a point to go watch the Dancing Fountain. It is a fountain that "dances" to music as well as having a laser show. It is a lot more interesting than it sounds and you will be amazed when you see it. ...
