Jet2 is the latest in a line of budget airlines to operate out of British airports. The difference with this one is that it goes out of Leeds/Bradford airport, and for anyone living in West Yorkshire this is a Godsend. Disadvantages: Sometimes not so cheap.

Jet2 being a budget airline I expected cramped and uncomfortable seats, however the seats were the most comfortable and roomy of any airline I have travelled with and I have travelled with quite a few. Jet2 are a fairly new uk airline but are a subsiduary of Channel express in France (please remember this if your travelling to France). They currently fly from Leeds Bradford airport and more recently from Manchester. What a great Airline this is! I have traveled with Jet 2.com many times and always had a great experiance with them. There website is easy to use and prices are clear and easy to understand. There staff treat you with respect and are always helpful. On a couple of flights I had my disabled father with me and it was no trouble for the cabin crew to sort out his transport from the plane to the airport building. My partner and I ideally wanted a few weeks away earlier this summer (well the start of June) but money could not quite stretch that far. Advantages: The website is easy to use and it is quicker to book flights than over the phone.
Disadvantages: However - large items may not be able to pre-booked

My Father has flown with Jet2 twice in the past 12months and both times he was carrying a bicycle in a carry case. Obviously this is a large item, and yet it cannot be booked in prior to the flight day. The flight (from LBA to Paris) was booked over the internet and it informed us that bikes could not be pre-checked. Therefore we had to phone Jet2, which took forever to get through. I have used Jet2 on a number of occasions now. I have flown from Manchester to Murcia, Alicante and Prague with them. I have always found the prices to be amongst the best around, especially if you are flexible with your dates. I have always booked my car hire through Jet2 and to date I have never managed to get it cheaper elseware. Jet2 have their own check-in area at Manchester so I have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to check- in ... Read review

Jet 2 is one of the newer range of budget airlines available in the UK. Before I say anything else, the bestest thing about this airline is that it flys from Leeds/Bradford. No longer do i need to trapes across the penines to Manchester or down to London for just a short break. First lets get all the bad things out of the way. Now this is how flying should be! I've just returned from my second trip using Jet 2 this one was a short break in Nice which cost me £5 to fly there and £1 to fly back. The taxes they had to add on aftrewards cost more than that. But at a total cost of £36 I still couldn't complain. I can't get to Manchester for that. ...a couple of times with Jet2 to Amsterdam, Venice and Barcelona and each time have been more than satisfied with the service. Jet2 has one great advantage over some of their budget competitors in that they actually fly to the main city airports e.g. Marco Polo in Venice and Barcelona main airport. One of the major reasons why I chose this airline was because it fly’s from my local and nearest airport. However do not be fooled into thinking that they are not worth flying with! By comparison alone they beat other budget airlines following my experience.
