One of the major reasons why I chose this airline was because it fly’s from my local and nearest airport. However do not be fooled into thinking that they are not worth flying with! By comparison alone they beat other budget airlines following my experience. As relentless "easyJetters", the ability to fly budget from (our local airport) Manchester rather than Liverpool is very welcome. We flew to Valencia for just £31 return! I am 5ft 5 and my husband is 6ft we both have adequate room when we are flying with jet 2 unlike some of the other budget airlines. I noticed Jet2 were now flying from Manchester to Amsterdam so I thought I would give it a go and see some old friends. The online booking service was simple to use and the price was very reasonable. Also the advantage of using terminal 1 at Manchester meant no long trek from the station to check-in. ...times we decided to use Jet2 to go to Sharm El Shiek. (After losing all our money booking through ) We were really happy with Ryanair but they didnt fly where we wanted to go. Booking online was very easy and straightforward to do. We flew from Manchester and couldnt believe the queue when we arrived. Planes are old but Jet2 never had a crash. many incidents hapenned but I trust their pilots are qualified. So sit back and *try* to relax. My flights this weekend were delayed an hour both ways (thanks I guess) but they are not so bad with timings, have a good staff (not refined but helpful), nearly decent food on board (the tuna sandwich is eatable), and the onboard shopping is quite good for deals. Prices are okay so I'd say they are quite good ...

Just returned from Gran Canaria with Jet 2..it was a horrible experience. Going out the flight was delayed, 45 minutes which cant be helped at times, returning the information boards were not kept up to date all the passengers had no idea what was happening, when we did board 3 hours late, with some cock and bull story about the clocks going forward, they loaded three flights onto one....Leeds, Manchester, and Newcastle, they had buses to ferry fellow passengers to Manchester and Leeds, so instead of getting home at 1am, I was arriving at 5am and those poor Manchester and Leeds folk had a futher 2/3 hours to travel. Also no food onboard,I will never fly with them again. ...

The first thing about jet2 is the ease of the internet booking service. I found it very easy to organise our short break to prague around when i could get the most reasonable flights. I did book many weeks in advance but thought the price of £70 return very reasonable. As for check in our flight was at 7.25am with several jet2 flights going around same time, all jet2 flights used same check in but found it very quick and painless. As for the flight ...

We have flown with jet2 for the past few years. It's a good airline with excellent customer service. The only problem I have faced with Jet2 is the non refundable bit, because in this day and age things change and if you have to book eight months in advance to get a seat at a good price and plans change you are stuck, either wasting your money or coughing up more on £30 flight changes, also you have to use the same destination. Jet2 is a low cost airline designed to cater for the modern holidaymaker who wishes to book their own flights and digs online. I have flown Jet2 numerous times and have always found the flight to be as enjoyable as it can be. Drinks and food( sandwiches and other cold snacks) are offered for sale as this is obvously where money is made. A duty free service is also provided. The space on board is comfortable given the length of Jet2 destinations ...

The only downside I have experienced is that not all return check-ins handle the system of one line for all flights particularly well, allowing for queue jumping which is annoying. Recently travelled with jet2 and booked at least 6 months in hand during which time they changed their baggage allowance BUT never advised me of this. Thus thinking our baggage was well within the allowance we set off only to find that with their new allowance I was over weight and had to pay an excess charge. Letters to their "customer service" and the big boss Philip Meeson were a waste of time, they addressed the points raised. Definitley not ...
