Jet Airways

I have travelled through Jet airways on their international as well as domestic fleets. Jet is one of best Indian airlines for domestic travel, there is no doubt about it. They have recently take over Air Sahara (sahara group airline) and rename it as jetlite. So for budget airline jetlite is good option which cover many destinations within India. For international flights it is now cheaper than Air India. So always preferable over Air India. Staff ...

i travelled on jet airways afew weeks ago and was very impressed. i flew from heathrow london to amritsar india. i had my doubts at the start of our journey as we took off a hour late, i was preparing myself for a very long flight but i was pleasantly surprised. I always fly with Jet Airways when I'm working in India. Sure the fares a a bit expensive.. but the crew, the aircraft.. the entire experience is truly great. The staff and crew are very polite, attentive and take very good care of all their passengers. I mostly travel to India ... so i have traveled with quite alot of airlines .. Jet airways is one of my favourite airlines. Probably one of the best. Yes the airline ticket is quite expensive but when we think about the crew, the flight, the experience is really great. The Crew is very polite, attentive, takes good care of passengers and are really friendly. The meals i had was really excellent, They provided the best meal. I felt like having my food from some hotel. I think the airline covers almost whole of the India. I hope you would be happy if u travel with this airline. ...

I have to say jet airways is far most the best airline i have ever flew in to places in india. Based in Melbourne I booked tickets online for BKK-CCU-BKK sector and due to the error of Jetairways online booking system, which didn't confirm the first booking, ended up with duplicate booking for the same sector. Travelling with Jet Airways can easily end up in nothing but big trouble. From bad experience at Kathmandu airport on the way to New Delhi, I just can advise against this airline. The unprovoked offload off the flight and the missed connection flight involved were the starting point of a 36 hour lasting drama. The responsible station managers of Jet Airways were apparently obliging and cooperative but turned out to be obviously incompetent and over-challenged ...

...a lot of troubles with Jet Airways. They just cancelled my flight Kathmandu-Dehli-Munich without significant reason. Consequently the way home was dubious. I had to wait many hours in several airports not knowing exactly what was going on. To reduce the waiting time I bought my own flight back to Germany.
