I've always had a soft spot for Jo's Bar & Garaz, a small bar-restaurant and music club tucked away in the shadow of St Nick's Church on Malostranske Namesti. It was one of the key players on the expat scene directly after the Velvet Revolution, and my own fond memories are of drunken shout-alongs to Red Hot Chilli Peppers in the "Garaz", the tiny cellar danceclub two floors below street level.
