    Advantages Advantages Chilled out atmosphere and a reliable food source in a touristy area.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lost a lot of the heart and soul that made it such a key player in the old days.

    I've always had a soft spot for Jo's Bar & Garaz, a small bar-restaurant and music club tucked away in the shadow of St Nick's Church on Malostranske Namesti. It was one of the key players on the expat scene directly after the Velvet Revolution, and my own fond memories are of drunken shout-alongs to Red Hot Chilli Peppers in the "Garaz", the tiny cellar danceclub two floors below street level. That was ten years ago, a time when every expat in Prague seemed to spend at least a small part of their week drinking, eating, smoking, chatting or partying at Jo's.
