Josi - General shopping in Paris

I have lived in Paris for 6 months and i understand that it may be difficult to shop in paris if you do not know where to go or if you are there for just the weekend. I must admit it took me a good month to find out where the good shops were! Buying the tickets: For starters i would definitely advise you to buy a metro ticket : there are different tickets available such as 1 ticket for 1 journey, a pass of 10 tickets , daily pass called mobili, ...
...passes are called a carte orange and you do need a photo to get it. if you are in paris for just the weekend then i would buy the daily pass for 3 zones (oh yes forgot to mention paris is split into 8 zones or so, but for shopping you only really need the first 3 zones). I'm sure everyone has heard lots of great comments about Shopping in Paris as there is so many shops!! This is all very true but the probalem it is really hard to find them all!!! I went to Paris for a few days last year, really excited about the new wardrobe of clothes I would have to take back with me!! How disappointed I was!!!! Because Paris is such a big city, it is really difficult to find the centre of all the shopping. Although the 'metro' ...
