    How much was I looking forward to a stay in a 4 star hotel in Cardiff? Tons! I had stayed at one of the Jurys hotels before, in Dublin, and it had probably been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. We chose the Jurys in Cardiff for two reasons really. Firstly, it's location. We were due to see Alice Cooper in the Cardiff Arena across the street - and the prospect of merely having to walk out of the venue and fall into bed just sounded marvelous.     Stood on the corner of Mary Ann Street and Bute Terrace, the Jury's hotel in Cardiff is certainly not the most attractive of buildings. In fact, it's a red-brick monstrosity, and as I stepped out of my taxi, I had this feeling that I was in for a bad night. With steely resolve, I gripped my luggage and decided that it was too late to change my mind now - and boy am I glad I didn't.
