Jurys Inn Croydon, London

Having attended a conference here before in one of the conference suites, and having stayed overnight at the hotel a few month's ago, I felt it was time to post a review of the Inn on Ciao. ~ The location ~ Jury's Inn Croydon is situated on the A212, Wellesley Road in central Croydon. This is one of the busiest roads in the borough and the hotel is only about a ten minute walk from mainline East Croydon station and the smaller West Croydon station. not sure about this place, looks quite impresseive walking in, but the rooms are small, i had a sofa in mine which pretty much took all the walking space from that side of the bed. tiny TV, with a few free channels. Bed was very hard and the aircon was quite brutal. the bathroom was nice, white and clean but the bath is very small and the shower kicks out red hot water if your not careful. bar is a little expensive but make yummy sandwiches roughly £8 so not the bargain of the century. staff in the bar are charming but the ones on reception need to learn a lesson or two in customer service. i ... more
