Having attended a conference here before in one of the conference suites, and having stayed overnight at the hotel a few month's ago, I felt it was time to post a review of the Inn on Ciao. ~ The location ~
Jury's Inn Croydon is situated on the A212, Wellesley Road in central Croydon. Advantages: Lovely Reception and Friendly Barstaff Disadvantages: Small rooms, Hards Beds, too many to count.
not sure about this place, looks quite impresseive walking in, but the rooms are small, i had a sofa in mine which pretty much took all the walking space from that side of the bed. tiny TV, with a few free channels. Bed was very hard and the aircon was quite brutal. the bathroom was nice, white and clean but the bath is very small and the shower kicks out red hot water if your not careful. bar is a little expensive but make yummy sandwiches roughly ... ...the bar are charming but the ones on reception need to learn a lesson or two in customer service. i had my card slammed back in my hand once i had paid the bill. there are much nicer hotels for about the same price but to honest i would rather pay the extra twenty quid for one more star. ...
