Kerala Backwaters - God's own country
Since I am from the near by state of Kerala, I hope that I will be able to explain better about it. The Kerala Backwaters have got stunning beauty scenery. I will say it has the world's most beautiful natural locations. I'm not saying this just because I'm from the same country. My view is accepted by most of the tourists and even you will accept it when you come here.

...cruise on the Backwaters of Kerala is something every person has the right to experience. Gliding on a long boat, the sound of silence and mistique is unique. Kingfishers darting past, the cuckoo searching for food. A woodpecker noisily pecks at a tree. See pineapples growing out of the ground. Indian families bathing, washing their clothes, staring curiously. The tranquility has to be experienced. Progress has unfortunately caught up with this place, ... ...be built on the banks of the backwaters, this is surely tourism gone mad. This is a place to cherish not exploit. Close your eyes and imagine your in a bounty advert. A stop at the bridge for a welcome drink in the heat is a sight to behold, school children learning to swim on dry land.
